The Mind Stirring Myths By Tt 7/9/2022 At Greenberry’s, Charlottesville VA (1) “Tell Me who invited you here?” “Tell me who is older than whom?” These were the questions I heard the moment I realized where I was standing Today, upon seeing this picture I heard these questions again. (2) So, I have two unanswered mind-boggling questions Oh, the great venerable mother of wisdom Please help your own son Free him with his ancient memories. (3) I have two soul-stirring myths that chase me Oh, the great compassionate mother of all times Please help your own son Enlighten him with his antiquated origin. (4) The magnificent pyramids of Giza Invited me with their matchless majesty The imperishable legends of the ancient Kush kingdom Honored my presence with their unsurpassed charms “Look, these are the pyramids you have longed to see!” A voice I made acquaintance within this life shouted out “Hold on, how can you be certain you have never been here before?” Familiar words of a reminder calmingly uttered. (5) Really, why am I here at the pyramid? To be honest, who is older than whom? Me, a sentient being, or the pyramids: The pile of timeworn stones? Why do the materialists not wish others to regard them as mere stuff? (6) I am here because of who I was “No cause no result” It is the continuity It is that of aged connection It is true to claim I am here But It is false to state “I” have never been here before!

A little reflection on the happiness of the ignorance   7/17/2018 b y tt  At Virginia Home  Today, finally, after twenty days of work, I finished something and I am happy!   My friend, a Taiwan based Prof. Sonam Wangyal emailed me a portion of 289 words from Monlam Great Tibetan Diction in the end of April and asked me to translate them into Chinese. I started the project about twenty days ago, but found it is much more c hallenging than I was expected. The project requires me to master the Traditional Chinese characters and a different way to typing on keyboard. Unlike to translate a text, translating dictionary is somewhat boring. I was assigned to translate the words that starts with the Ja ( ཇ ),   the seventh consonant of thirty Tibetan alphabets.
