All the Sages from the East know one thing
And they teach that one thing for thousands of years
It took me over fifty years to hear that one thing
I am glad that one thing works
Because it leads me to see far
Hear better
And reflect deeper.

“Do not compromise with your Ahamkara!”[1]
Insist the Hindu Gurus of India
“Understand you as Anatman[2] and be compassionate!”
Urged by the Dalai Lama of Tibet
“Do what water does!”
Advised Laozi and Confucius of the Far East.

Standing next to the blossoming Cherry tree in my backyard
Seeing the great flag of America is proudly flying at my front door
Whispering to the thrilling messages of the early Spring
I heard my heart’s invocation
I tasted the sweetness of the air I breath
I am truly contented
Truly happy
Truly integrated.

Contentment is the key to being happy
Things you possess possess you…
(5)
Blaming others
Always looks outwardly
Not critically examine who we are
And act accordingly
Make no correction or overcorrecting
No happiness for individuals of this kind.
(6)
Contentment is not the cohort of LBS[3]
Contentment is the light of critical reasoning
That penetrates everyone’s basic humanity
(7)
“Be content and you will be happy!”
I repeat this sacred mantra quietly to myself
(8)
Oh, my dear mate
Either you feel contented or discontented
May you never forget this simplest truth
May I live in the light of these holly words from the sunset to the sunrise!
I sincerely plead with my conscious because
Seeing no ego-self is the ultimate contentment!
(9)
Oh my dear mate
Go and talk to these sages of the East
Do and test what they have already perfected!
May all sentient beings be free from the tortures of their very own Ego!
