At Virginia home
I lit a candle, a remover of the darkness,
It illuminates my heart and expanded the spectrum of the universe,
In which I do make my very humble living!
I burned the sacred twigs from the Sheegua tree in Tibet,
It instantly dispelled the limitation that locks me behind the bar of my physical body.
I followed the blue smoke that is crawling up and spreads far...
Suddenly, I found I myself deeply drowned into the smoke's self-so nature
I talked to myself, I wish it is me or I am it.
l welcomed the sacred smells enthusiastically broke out from the Sheegua tree twigs and
I beseech her to overtake my entire being in the cosmos
So that she can mercilessly smash my ego and its propensities.
I wish I am that of heavenly candle light,
Illuminating
Quiet
Receptive, yet immensely powerful!
I wish I am that of holy smoke,
Free
Playful
Penetrative, yet inconceivably tender!
I wish I am that of sacred smell,
Reaches all,
Embraces all and transforms all
With my un-manifested, primordial wisdom and compassion!
May all beings be free from the ego, the creator of all the sufferings!
