At home, in Virginia
By tt
It is quiet now,
I feel something strangely new and something mysteriously hard
My eyes almost see nothing around,
My ears certainly hear no that family voice as before…
Yes, it is quite quiet now,
This is because I can hear you are saying
“Watch out your attachment for me and know yourself better in emptiness.”

It is also quite light now,
The smoke rising up from the incense I born at my sacrosanct altar
Confidently proclaims that
“Today, the weight of yours is as light as nine…”
Emptiness and lightness are hands in hand
Lightness and emptiness are inseparable
Now, I can tell how it feels when one becomes an astronaut roaming in out space…

Be quiet and make friend with quietness is a great fortune
This is because only in quietness we can see the things as they really are
But to face something that is deadly quiet is a curse and even a kind of punishment
Now, I need to know how to train the quietness that you through to me
To be the innate force of compassion and prajnaparamita in their nature oneness…

Stress and heaviness like the two normal nightmares of our day and evening reality
Raise in the lightness and sit on its head is a great blessing
But, to embrace the lightness in confusion is a curse and even kind of punishment
Now, I need to know how to train myself not only live like that of holy smoke but
To be the sacred incense that can be manifested into smoke in union with emptiness and lightness…
